Job Description

The Accounting & Finance Specialist (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable) is responsible for completing timely and accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting tasks in support of the company’s financial operations. The Account & Finance Specialist will prepare and generate checks as required as well as balancing general ledger accounts through audits and reconciliation. The position includes posting of payments from clients and office filing. The Accounting & Finance Specialist will help support the Contract Administrators by processing contracts, entering daily job tracking paperwork, and billing clients.

Qualifications:

• Ability to think critically and analytically.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable systems and databases.
• Exercises attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Possess effective, professional interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge of accounting general ledger.
• Associates degree or higher in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
