JCC Greater Boston is seeking an After-School Program Educator. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on children's lives. As a part-time After-School Educator at the JCC Greater Boston, you will play a key role in creating engaging and supportive experiences for children enrolled in Discovery Club, an active and entertaining after-school program for students in grades K-5. The After-School Educator is primarily responsible for assisting children with their schoolwork, including math, reading, and writing assignments. The educator also assembles educational resources and tools, including books, art supplies, stationery, and other items as needed. The educator interacts with children to offer direction, emotional support, and inspiration to finish assignments.

This position will pay a starting hourly salary in the range of $20- $23 per hour. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the hours the employee will work, the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. The hours for this position would be +/—15 hours/week (3:00-6:00 pm, earlier hours offered on Wednesdays, 12:30-6). (Additional weekend shifts are also available.)
