Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled
Business Consultant to provide expertise in IT Staff Augmentation Services and play a pivotal role in enhancing our business processes and ensuring alignment with technology initiatives.
This is full-time, long-term contract, and 100% remote. Candidates must currently be located in Florida. What You'll Do - Serve as a liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors, ensuring technology decisions align with business objectives
- Collect, analyze, review, and communicate business needs and requirements to the IT team
- Lead the design of solutions through direct interaction with business unit leaders
- Develop and refine business processes, establish metrics, and foster continual improvement
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of information systems and business processes, including their drivers, success measures, and future directions
- Influence business solutions, negotiate deliverables, and manage expectations across multiple stakeholders
- Guide the integration of system, software, and hardware solutions to facilitate business growth through technology
- Optimize business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology
- Resolve technological issues within the business unit by analyzing processes and proposing solutions
- Develop plans to integrate new and existing processes, and support strategic planning and prioritization for business process engineering activities
- Identify and document existing processes, analyze gaps, design new processes, and establish process performance measures
- Provide strategic counsel on the use of technology and business process enhancements
- Conduct data analysis to support business process improvements
Required What You'll Need - Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least five years of experience in requirements documentation, system documentation, and process engineering, with two years in project management or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio) and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create end-to-end business scenarios for test case development and execution
- Experience with TFS for task planning, workflow management, and Agile Team reporting
- Knowledgeable in web applications, client-server applications, legacy systems, and database concepts
- Proven project management capabilities, including planning, resource management, and milestone tracking
- Ability to adapt quickly, re-prioritize, and gather new insights from customer feedback
- Extensive domain knowledge and experience in leading large, complex projects with enterprise-wide impact
- Ability to coach and mentor junior staff
Physical Demands - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
