C ardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) Needed in Sanford, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly Rate - $31.84 - $46.26
• Shift Details: Days (Rotating Weekends)
• On Call (7 times a month +. Includes 1 weekend)
• Sign-on Bonus 15k
• 12-Hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situations.
• Foster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patients.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after the surgical procedure.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during surgery.
• Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure before start is required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience (May Consider 1 year of CVOR RN experience
• BSN is preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
• CNOR preferred
