Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 1st Region has an opening for a Full-Time Legal Assistant needed to support attorneys in our Tallahassee office. The position will be tasked with answering phones, transferring calls, greeting clients and must be able to handle electronic filings, calendaring and assigned tasks. Experience with Criminal law preferred. Experienced candidates must possess a high school diploma. Candidates must have computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, and Outlook. Further, candidates must be able to have the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and project a professional and friendly demeanor in all inter-office, client, court personnel and opposing counsel interactions and communications. The regular work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
