Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of our Agile software development team working on the Object Management Service (OMS) while ensuring effective implementation of Agile principles and practices.

Object Management Service (OMS) delivers a secure and modern API that is tailored for efficient object production and management.The program architecture is built on discrete analytics, storage and data microservices that enable seamless integration across multiple missions and applications.Your work will entail critical knowledge-sharing tools for the customer with real-world applications. The tools the team works on are high-visibility and enable collaboration across multiple partners as they are used in the day-to-day mission, throughout the customer and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable data to be updated and shared in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • 2 years of experience and a Associates Degree or;
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to stakeholders, team members and executives.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working in cloud architecture with AWS EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Elastic Search
  • Comptia Security+ or DoD8570 Baseline equilivant
  • Basic understanding of software development and technical concepts to facilitate effective communication between team members.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana or similar.

Work Location: National Capital Region(NCR) (Washington, DC; Reston, VA; Annapolis Junction, MD)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$60,000 - $70,000
