Job Overview:

Beacon Restoration and Cleaning is a 24-Hour Emergency Services Company working in the neighborhoods and communities we live in. Water, fire, and smoke damage take minutes, if not seconds, to occur and sometimes days to clean up. Our teams arrive swiftly to restore residential and commercial property caused by disasters.

The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Beacon office(s), including regional expansion, project and staff management, marketing, sales, finances, and profitability. This person will oversee the office's profit and loss, manage accounts receivable (A/R) balances, and ensure compliance with financial targets and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage regional expansion efforts and strategic initiatives to grow market presence.
  • Supervise marketing and sales activities to promote the Beacon brand and secure new business opportunities.
  • Maintain oversight of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving profitability goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, such as property managers, technicians, and insurance companies.
  • Manages office(s) account receivable (A/R) balances, tracks Project Managers A/R statuses, and partners with legal staff regarding outstanding A/R balances.
  • Monitors and ensures payment schedules are established and for all jobs by Project Managers and ensures consistency across similar projects for the office(s)
  • Maintains or exceeds daily target sales goal for the office(s)
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and resolve emerging issues promptly.
  • Uphold compliance with safety regulations and quality environmental standards.
  • Develop staff to build a competent and motivated team.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fire restoration or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Construction management process experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Insurance adjusters preferred.
  • IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, CDS, OCT, FSRT), preferred.
  • Builders license, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire damage restoration techniques, industry standards, and regulations
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities effectively, and act independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Well versed in reading and interpreting financial statements.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
