Are you a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) looking for a fulfilling opportunity? We are seeking an SLPA to join a dynamic team of educators and therapists for the remainder of the school year, with the possibility of renewal for the next year. This role offers a unique chance to provide speech and language services to students in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.
Provide speech therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance students' speech and language development.
Monitor and document student progress through data collection and analysis.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to IEP goal development.
Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other team members.
Stay updated with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
ASHA certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in special education.
