Loan Officer Trainee Location: Troy, MI Description: Lend-A-Loan is seeking a motivated individual to join as a Loan Officer Trainee in Troy, MI. This role involves engaging with potential leads and guiding them through the sales process. As the primary point of contact, each interaction is viewed as an opportunity to create a positive impact. No prior mortgage experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. This position offers an hourly rate combined with commission incentives, making it an ideal entry point into the mortgage industry. Benefits at LAL • Access to company-provided leads • 401(k) plan • Comprehensive dental, vision, and health insurance coverage Participation in referral program • Full support for NMLS training and resources Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Friday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities: • Prospect and convert qualified leads • Utilize warm calling techniques to engage with prospects and build relationships • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and active listening • Maintain a thorough understanding of the market and industry trends to effectively position products/services • Studying for the NMLS state exam Qualifications: • Previous mortgage exp. is a plus, but not required • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • You MUST be comfortable on the phones - high call volume environment • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset - six-figure mindset • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills About Company: We are a group of mortgage experts who specialize in making the home loan experience a memorable one for our valued clients!
