About the Job:
We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Manchester, CT. This is a first-shift position with great pay and the chance to use your skills in a dynamic environment. If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping equipment running smoothly, this might be the perfect fit for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Keep production equipment running smoothly by performing maintenance, repairs, and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines and equipment.
• Work on various machinery like die cutters, presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
• Use tools like welders, lathes, milling machines, and other shop equipment to repair or reproduce parts when needed.
• Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications to get the job done right.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment and machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems – you know how to tell one issue from another.
• A keen eye for detail to make precise adjustments, alignments, and measurements.
• The ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to identify and fix problems.
• Advanced skills in constructing and assembling complex parts, including knowledge of geometry and shop math to calculate fits, angles, and more.
• Comfort using various tools and machines, from welders to precision measuring instruments.
