The NICU Charge Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Women’s and Children’s Center. This role will oversee a team of RNs, techs, and support staff, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. Collaboration with a skilled team of neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, and respiratory therapists is a key component of this position.
The NICU Charge Nurse will lead a dynamic unit that provides care for critically ill and premature infants. The NICU features 7 beds and 24/7 support from specialized teams. This fast-paced, growing department is known for its supportive culture, active Unit-Based Council, and commitment to family-centered care.
The NICU Charge Nurse will balance clinical and administrative duties, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient unit operations. This role also ensures compliance with quality metrics and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration.
