This position is located in the city of Sacramento .
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Policy & Performance Section, Vocational Rehabilitation Policy and Resources Division, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for a wide variety of analytical assignments related to submission of Federally mandated reports (e.g., quarterly Case Service Report / RSA-911 Report) on vocational rehabilitation (VR) program performance. This position serves as a link between policy / business objectives, and information technology capacity, including business requirements and functions related to supporting and ensuring successful completion of Federal reporting, including analytical, configuration, adaptation, data collection, and record of services documentation tasks using the DOR electronic recording system, Aware.
The incumbent in this position will analyze, identify, and evaluate policies, regulations, statutes, processes, and procedures that will improve opportunities for Californians with disabilities to achieve employment, independence, and equality through DOR programs and services. The position develops and communicates written policies and procedures and provides program policy consultation on the application of the Aware electronics records system and other service delivery strategies. The position gathers, develops, and supports continuous improvement strategies; identifies and analyzes program enhancement opportunities through reporting trends and data integrity; and develops and provides technical assistance and training necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the VR program.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Sacramento. The Department supports opportunities for telework. This position requires occasional travel of 1-3 days.

Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California.
