This position is considered “hybrid” with on-site work two days a week at 722 Capitol Mall and telework three days a week, on average, dependent on operational needs. Currently in office days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

The EDD Workforce Services Branch (WSB) is seeking candidates to apply for a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) /Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) position in the Policy Unit within the Central Office Workforce Services Division. The position is located at 722 Capitol Mall in the heart of downtown Sacramento within walking distance to light rail, farmer's market during the summer months, the Golden 1 Center, the California State Capitol, historical Old Sacramento and an eclectic collection of retailers, restaurants, food trucks and entertainment venues.   • Demonstrated ability to develop and evaluate alternatives, analyze data, and present ideas and information effectively and recommend best possible courses of action.

  • Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, tact, and good judgment, while managing multiple priorities, adapting to business needs, and meeting deadlines.
