We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time or part-time contract position in Salem, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite, with the option for part-time video consultations if desired. Join our dedicated team at an outpatient community mental health agency that primarily serves Medicaid-eligible patients. General Summary
As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing psychiatric management for our clients, working collaboratively with therapists, medical case managers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, medication management, and medically necessary follow-up services.
Review assessments and treatment plans at least annually.
Meet with clients a minimum of once every quarter.
Deliver services as outlined for qualified mental health professionals.
Document all treatment in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with Medicaid standards, Oregon Administrative Rules, and private insurance requirements.
Provide after-hours coverage for your clients as needed.
Review and sign off on assessments, Individual Support Plans (ISPs), and other documentation from fellow clinicians that require your signature.
Offer coverage for colleagues when necessary.
Additional Requirements

Comfort in working with underserved populations with complex psychosocial backgrounds.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Ability to coordinate effectively with guardians, group home providers, case workers, family members, natural supports, Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA), Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP), and other administrative staff.
Attend required meetings at our facility.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual or bicultural, especially Spanish-speaking.
Experience working with child and adolescent populations.
Experience with developmentally delayed populations.
Credentialed with Medicare.
Resident of Oregon.
