Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Craft and implement culturally attuned treatment plans that align with patients' beliefs, family structures, and traditions, ensuring the care provided is respectful and individualized.

Collaborate with Community Resources: Work closely with local resources and organizations to improve accessibility and relevance of mental health services within diverse communities.

Educate and Support: Offer guidance and resources to patients and their families, addressing the impact of cultural influences on mental well-being and ensuring that care is both understanding and accessible.

Commit to Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development focused on enhancing cultural competence and staying informed about the evolving cultural landscape within the U.S.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
Active Board Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Current state licensure in the U.S.
Strong cultural competence with an understanding of diverse U.S. cultural dynamics
Telepsychiatry experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inclusive and respectful care
