As a Business Development Executive, your journey begins with the Wholesaler -where you will make weekly visits to purchase stock. You’ll also drive brilliant relationships and support depots with regular activation and availability drives. Out in the field, you will manage your territory to its highest potential – driving and maintaining distribution, availability, and visibility of Asahi brands across your portfolio of convenience stores, through regular visits, brilliant retailer engagement, direct sales and activation. Through your consultative approach, you will support business owners and decision makers in driving business performance and category growth, enhancing AUK brand loyalty, portfolio expansion, wholesale repeat purchase and rate of sale.

As a Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Use your rapport building and influencing skills to build great relationships and grow the distribution & sales of AUK products.
  • Increase retailer knowledge and advocacy for AUK brands – driving loyalty and repeat wholesale purchase.
  • Utilise merchandising, point-of-sale materials and retailer support to ensure maximum availability and visibility of AUK brands – both at wholesale and in stores.
  • Use your planning and organisation skills to ensure your territory achieves its maximum potential, fully completing your call file and achieving sales targets.

You could be the perfect candidate for this role if:

  • You’re passionate about the Convenience channel and would relish the opportunity to represent Asahi UK and its premium drinks portfolio.
  • You have a background in retail or sales, or you are eager to embark on a sales career.
  • You have great communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • You have strong organisational skills, including planning and the ability to utilise data.
  • You are self-motivated, naturally curious, with a desire to overachieve.
  • Previous experience within the convenience channel and/or drinks industry would be highly desirable.

Full driving licence is essential.
