Interior Designer
Studio 3 Design Group has an immediate opening for an interior designer on our team! We are searching for a skilled designer, with 4-6 years of experience, to join our creative team for the design of commercial and residential projects. Applicants should possess strong design, planning, and collaboration skills, and be comfortable working both independently, and in a team environment, on various projects and tasks. The S3DG team provides a supportive and collaborative environment for all employees to encourage innovative and rewarding outcomes for both our clients and employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Industry recognized diploma, or degree, in Interior Design
· Basic knowledge of architectural and engineering graphic standards
· Ability to integrate interior design requirements with architecture.
· Problem-solving abilities, as an individual and collaborator
· Excellent time management, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
· Basic proficiency with ArchiCAD (preferred), Revit, and/or other software in the development and documentation of a design project.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead interior design scope of work on commercial and residential projects
· Responsible for maintaining collaboration with clients, understanding, and incorporating their needs.
· Produce conceptual and preliminary design presentations to present to clients
· Research codes and other standards, as necessary for compliance
· Pursue knowledge of latest design and material innovations used for interior design.
· Prepare scaled drawings and specifications, suitable for construction.
· Coordinate with architectural and consultant team members.
Employment Terms:
· Full time position - Monday- Friday/8am-5pm
· Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience
