Amazon is looking for a (Senior) Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.
We are actively seeking an experienced (Senior) Program Manager with a strong background in strategic planning to lead key initiatives that align with our long-term business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for program strategies, including the development and execution of detailed project roadmaps. Your expertise in strategic planning will be essential in identifying critical business opportunities and challenges, and in devising innovative solutions to address them. You will work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders, harmonizing different perspectives and ensuring cohesive efforts towards common goals.

A day in the life
Amazon’s Global Fleet and Products (GFP) organization powers the network of internal and external organizations that source, distribute and operate Amazon's in-house last mile delivery fleet. The Fleet Planning team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to drive the teams make the most efficient use of fleet.
As a Program Manager in Amazon Last Mile Fleet Planning team, you will be responsible for driving execution of fleet allocation strategy. The goal of fleet planning team is to allocate the right quantity and mix of fleet to the Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to ensure DSPs have sufficient fleet capacity to deliver packages. To manage allocation, you will work with multiple partner teams like training, deployment, redeployment, charger infrastructure and multiple vendors to align on actions and remove any hurdles to execution of strategy. You will work with large amounts of data to monitor execution to the plan and adapt to changing plans as business dynamics change.
Key responsibilities:
• Monitor fleet usage and identify opportunities to improve fleet allocation
• Manage launch of new vehicle types by driving alignment amongst all responsible teams
• Deep dive data and build scalable workflows
• Partner with multiple teams monitor progress to plan
• Lead reviews with senior leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
