We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Summer Leveraged Finance Analyst to join Augmentjobs for a dynamic internship experience in our Investment Banking division. This role offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates with a strong interest in leveraged finance to gain hands-on experience in one of the most exciting areas of finance.
As a Summer Leveraged Finance Analyst, you will work closely with senior bankers to support the structuring, analysis, and execution of leveraged finance transactions, including high-yield bond and syndicated loan offerings. You will be involved in financial modeling, preparing pitch materials, conducting market research, and performing credit analysis. The internship will provide exposure to a wide range of financial products and deal structures in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial models for leveraged transactions.
Contribute to the creation of presentations and marketing materials for clients.
Perform credit analysis and conduct industry research to support the deal team.
Work with various teams to ensure timely delivery of transaction-related tasks.
Participate in client meetings and assist in the development of relationship management strategies.
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Previous internship experience in finance or banking is a plus but not required.
