Job Description

AECOM  is seeking a  Technology & Security Consultant to be based in  Novi, MI .

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Under supervision, conducts project analysis, executes work plans, defines tasks, and participates in data collection.

• Develops, expands, and sustains client relationships under the guidance of state transportation business line leaders.

• Identifies prospective projects or work opportunities and collaborates with client managers to formulate and implement project pursuit strategies.

• Supports and engages in the creation of technical deliverables by the ITS/Technology team, including plans, specifications, estimates, reports, and memorandums.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. 

Preferred

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience. 
• Coursework and/or project experience that is focused on transportation engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in CADD and industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD and OpenRoads).
• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Additional Information

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in  Novi, Michigan . The selected candidate must be available to work in  Novi, Michigan  on a scheduled basis.
• Travel of 10% is required for this position.
• As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and substance abuse test.
