Job Description

The Remote Travel Agent will be responsible for planning organizing and coordinating resort and cruise packages for our clients. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their travel preferences providing expert advice on destinations and ensuring seamless travel experiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills a passion for travel and the ability to work independently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences budget and expectations for their resort and cruise experiences.
  • Travel Planning: Research and recommend resort and cruise destinations itineraries and activities that align with clients preferences.
  • Booking Coordination: Handle all aspects of booking including flights accommodations transportation and excursions ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel planning process addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with resort and cruise vendors to secure the best rates and exclusive offers for clients.
  • Documentation: Prepare and distribute detailed travel itineraries including important information such as booking confirmations travel tips and destination highlights.
  • FollowUp: Check in with clients during and after their trips to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content and promotional materials to attract new clients.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a travel coordinator travel agent or similar role preferred but not required.
  • Indepth knowledge of resort and cruise destinations including popular travel trends and industry developments.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a customerfocused approach.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and travel industry dynamics.

Experience: Proven experience as a travel agent or in a similar role within the travel industry preferred but not required Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, and proficiency in travel booking systems (GDS) and software. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, airline and hotel booking procedures, and travel regulations. Certification: Certification as a Travel Agent (CTA, CTC, etc.) is a plus but not required Technology: Comfortable with remote work technology and tools such as CRM software, video conferencing, and online booking platforms. Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients in different time zones.
