Title: Ultrasound Sonographer - Reproductive Medicine

Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Length: 13 Weeks
Start: As soon as possible
Weekly Gross amount: $3,411
Tax Free Stipend: $1099
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 8 HR - Days
Travel Reimbursement: Up to $600


Position Requirements

-ARDMS - credentials with OB/GYN
-ND State Imaging Licensure required
-Two years' scanning experience
-Previous experience working at a reproductive clinic is preferred
-American Heart BLS Certification

Position Summary

The nature of the direction and supervision required for this position varies by State and job setting. A Medical Sonographer performs a wide range of highly complex organ imaging and Doppler studies on patients of all ages to provide physicians with data for diagnostic purposes.

-Able to function independently with only minimal supervision from Radiologists or other Ultrasound Team members. Makes pertinent observations regarding patient's condition, anatomy, and abnormalities.
-Must possess considerable knowledge of human anatomy and must be able to make reliable judgment on areas of concentration.
-Shows initiative to go beyond requested procedures to uncover unsuspected anomalies.
-Able to handle stress of interruption while still making accurate decisions.
-Able to interpret patient clinical data in order to present concise medical history to Radiologist.


Other Responsibilities

-Completes required orientation as directed by facility
-Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
-Follows facility and Hamilton Unusual Occurrence Protocol
-Respects cultural and religious practices of patients
-Upholds HIPAA regulations
-Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts
