Position Summary:  

The UX Design Manager at Blue Raven Solar collaborates with a talented team of creative problem solvers, engineers, and business leaders to design solutions for an in-house sales and customer enablement platform that empowers Blue Raven team members to provide an exceptional experience to our customers.  Product discovery is where they shine. They are the bridge between our users and engineers. UX Design team meets regularly with sales and operations team members, leads demos with stakeholders, and works with engineers to turn their designs into a reality.

Essential Duties:  

• Design experiences, interactions, and features that improve user experience for continued growth and success of our product 

• Understand user problems and be the voice of the user when collaborating with product managers and engineers in discovery 

• Own the design process for your team's features, including research, validation, and iteration 

• Communicate user intents, motivations, and needs, to drive delightful experiences 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, industrial design, human computer interaction, multidisciplinary design, user experience, computer science, or a related field 

• Sound knowledge of core design methods (sketching, wireframing, storyboarding, etc.) 

• Experience in both mobile and web UX design 

• Professional UX design experience or solid portfolio of academic work 

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment 

• Strong communication skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
